These trucks are built by a company in the los angeles area who owns a contract water spraying company. They have 20+ of these trucks they built to their own specifications because they could not find what they needed from other suppliers. The pump is a large shaft demming pump which cost $5,000 for just the pump. All of the piping is bent in house and uses no rubber connections. Most water trucks have rubber lines for connections because it takes more effort and cost to line everything up where straight pipes will work. This truck uses no rubber hoses for connections. The controls include individual on/off air switches for each nozzle and 3 pump pressure levers, one for front, middle and rear. This allows the engine to remain at high rpms while feathering the amount of water being sprayed from each bank. The factory pto is replaced with a unit matching the demands of the pump. The tank also has a gravity dump valve in the rear.
